What we are looking for

We want to hear what stories you think we should teach in our new course, Narratives gone Viral. All kinds of stories are welcome: books, plays, films, fairytales, blogs, YouTube videos or anything else they can think of. And you don't even have to enroll in the course in order to submit your ideas!

Eligibility (Duke NetID Required)

All Duke undergraduate students are welcome to submit an idea. 

How to submit your ideas

Step 1: Login by clicking on the Submit your Idea button

Step 2: Click on New Post and  Add your Title Name

Step 3: Click on + Add Content (Don't forget to Save Rich Text)

Step 4: Create tag(s) for your post to describe its genre in the left hand menu

Step 5: Change status from Draft to Publish in left hand menu

Step 6: Click on Save in left hand menu at top

Step 7: Check out the homepage (Click on HD Logo) to see your item posted

Uploading and organizing content

Step 1: Click on the + Add Content button

Step 2. Choose your content type(s). Below are your choices in the drop down menu.  You can add as many as you like

  • Rich Text
  • Video 
  • Photo Slideshow 
  • Button 
  • File (PDF, MS Office)
  • Audio
  • Twitter & RSS URL

Step 3. Click Save

Step 4: (optional): Move your content types up and down by using the arrows

Revising and Unpublishing your post

Step 1: Login with NetID

Step 2. Click on blog icon at the very top of your page

Step 3: Find your post and click on the Pencil Icon to edit

Step 4: You can now edit your post.

Step 5: To Unpublish change Schedule to Draft

Step 6: Click the Save button upper left hand side
